Online Registration Open

Major development projects are once again happening in Atlanta!

Whether ambitious single-owner projects or multi-developer clusters, these mega-developments are fundamentally transforming their surroundings while generating broader opportunities for others. Buckhead Atlanta, Ponce City Market, Avalon and 12th & Midtown are well-publicized examples.

For REIAC's 4th Quarter conference we will explore Atlanta's next wave of mega-projects now taking shape. This exciting program will highlight The GM Doraville redevelopment and Midtown's emerging Tech Square neighborhood.

For the first time in a public forum, Egbert Perry and the Integral Group will share their emerging vision for his recently acquired GM Doraville redevelopment and its hoped-for impact. The GM Doraville redevelopment has enormous possibilities and will dramatically change the I-285 / Peachtree Industrial corridor.

  • An infill site 20% larger than Atlantic Station
  • MARTA rail service
  • 270,000 traffic counts
  • I-285 frontage and robust infrastructure

Farther south, the Midtown skyline around Tech Square is also changing in fundamental ways.

  • Several developers are creating a major development cluster just east of the connector between 5th and 10th Streets
  • Parking lots and low density projects are being replaced by seven high-rise towers with 2 million square feet and a variety of uses
  • This quickly emerging "live-work-play-study-invent" neighborhood is an outgrowth of Atlanta's surging in-town tech sector and the desire among affluent young professionals for exciting urban living

Key participants from South City Partners, Seven Oaks and Georgia Tech will provide our REIAC attendees with insights on individual developments plus the unique culture expected in this new neighborhood.

Atlanta's economic growth cycles tend to reward developers who recognize emerging demand sectors and needed conveniences - then act boldly. GM Doraville and Tech Square North are the newest examples.

We know you will want to Join us on Thursday, November 13th to hear details of these transformational developments and the opportunities they will create.
